Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the thing that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
